The four founders of the Stage Door Slashers met on the set of The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 during the summer of 2004.

In The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 (try saying that five times fast), a mysterious killer called the “Stage Door Slasher” is on the loose, knocking people off left and right. It is from this muse we take our name and inspiration.

Since November of 2004, we have grown like Gargons and terrorized the small village of Estes Park every other week, performing anything from cheesy science fiction screenplays to Shakespeare.

And we eat a lot of junk food.
